This series was made as an effect of a trip to Japan. While creating this piece I explored the meaning of an outsider connecting to a culture with no relation to it. 

While creating this series I explored various Japanese cultural movements, heritage, contemporary and traditional art. 

These pieces were initially a photo. In the process of this work, I sketched and added part of the original photograph.
